I just got the s25 ultra, my google messages was working fine with RCS. My curious mind decided to download Samsung messages and give it a try. Well now my RCS on google messages says NOT SUPPORTED. I have tried several things and have not figured it out. Any help?? I've tried clearing the cache, restarted phone from factory, uninstalling app.

Since RCS is carrier dependent, you should probably get in touch with your carrier's tech support department.  Not customer service - ask specifically for tech support.  Who is your carrier?

Nothing in the actions you took should have interfered with the RCS activation.  I switch back and forth between Google Messages and Samsung Messages regularly.  I don't actually use Samsung messages, I just switch when I need to assist someone. It has never interfered with my RCS in Google Messages.

The problem is still occurring on my end. Not sure why switching between the two apps caused it to give me the not supported status for RCS or the verifying number status. My number is already verified. 😅😅

Truly, nothing you did should have caused this. As I said, I seitch back and forth all the time. Did you try booting into safe mode and trying to activate it from there? If you have a pysical SIM, power down, reboot without the SIM, power down again, reinsert the SIM and reboot. The only other two things I can suggest, you might not want to do. First is reset your mobile network, second is factory reset and restore.

I have a esim on this phone & I also did a factory reset and had same issue. What is safe mode, I don't believe I've heard of that before. 🤔

It loads only the apps that came with the phone. Shut down your phone. Long press the shutdown icon and then the option for safe mode will come up.

I tried this option this morning & didn't fix anything. Not Sure what else to do!! I feel like I've tried everything. Only other thing is possibly changing back to my old phone and get a new number wait a few days for the rcs on there & switch back to this phone after completing a factory reset. I normally can figure things out but this has me at a stand still.

Have you tried factory resetting the phone or resetting the mobile network?
