I just got the s25 ultra, my google messages was working fine with RCS. My curious mind decided to download Samsung messages and give it a try. Well now my RCS on google messages says NOT SUPPORTED. I have tried several things and have not figured it out. Any help?? I've tried clearing the cache, restarted phone from factory, uninstalling app.

Well, at least you can relax now.

That wouldn't matter as, if she set it as default, all she'd have to do is open Google messenges and it will ask again, to set as default. Anytime you open one that's not, it will ask

Uninstall, then update the app again. Restart your device then go into message settings and turn on RCS.

Did you try force stopping your carrier service then clearing cache, after that it might take some time but stay on Google message ands It should come back

Yes, I did force stop carrier services. It's stuck on verifying my phone number now. & I noticed if I update the google messaging app it then changes to not supported. But as long as I don't do update, it stays on verifying. I even called my carrier today. (Straight talk, who is through verizon) & talked to several people... they all gave me the run around and basically told me I'm without it now that I lost it and no way for me to get it back.... it's irritating me!

Do you have a vpn running or using a private DNS entry? The attached photo better illustrates what I mean.

Gotcha. I was having the same issue for a solid day until I remembered to turn off my DNS entry and when I did, RCS immediately activated.

I hope you find a resolution soon because I was super frustrated.

Yeah, I never messed with any of that, I just simply switched between google and Samsung messages and back to google cause of not liking Samsung messages & it started the setting up and later into the not supported status
