Hello. I have been using the S25U and am pleased with its overall performance. However, I have encountered an issue where the phone sometimes switches to "emergency calls only." After contacting T-Mobile, they were unable to detect any problems. I am curious to know, if anyone else has experienced this issue. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

If using a physical SIM card, check that it is seated correctly or if the slot card holder is fully inserted. May bumping it or dropping it caused the card to not be seated completely. If (or even if not) it is an eSIM setup, then open settings/general management/reset/rest mobile network settings and then reset that. See how that works.

More information is needed. Whats your signal strength? Have you reset network settings? E sim or physical sim? Developer options enabled? Turn phone off for 10 minutes then back on?

Sim card.

It says 4GLTE with full bars. though I live in 5G area.

Developer enabled is off.

Try this, open dialer, type star pound star pound 4636 pound star pound star. A menu should open, click phone info , scroll down to set network preferred type, make sure its set to nr,lte,gsm,wcdma. Then turn radio power off wait a minute then turn it back on.

Then its disabled. You can download a 3rd party app to get you into this menu. Im not sure what its called at this time, ill have to go look for it again but should be easy to find searching the play store for phone hidden menu.
