I've been having issues with Facebook Messenger not loading new messages when I open the app. Notifications work fine but when I open the app, the messages do not refresh automatically and I have to either clear cache or force stop the app for it to work properly.
Latest updates are already installed and I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app itself but the issue still persists.
I am having weird issues also. 1. When I click a voice message nothing happens unless I restart my phone every single time. 2. When I click to send a photo it does nothing. 3. When I try to add a contact on my phone outside of fb the + sign does nothing to add someone. 4. Sometimes my phone doesn't respond to click something that I should be able to click. 5. When I sent a message on messenger it sends then disappears and I don't know if they got the message or not! 6. When I click to report to fb it freezes and can't report.
My issue is that I can only send a handful of messages and then the app starts not-sending anything anymore. I have to force stop the app and reopen to fix it, but it happens EVERY TIME. Super annoying. The app still works on my old phone on wifi, with no issues. I will try the boot screen workaround, I guess. Hopefully that fixes it permanently, but I honestly don't understand why I would need to clear the cache on a phone that's just come out of the box. I wonder who is everyone's carrier, and if there's a connection there, as well. I already left a 💩y review for FB on the Play Store, which I had no problem doing when I noticed that I had previously left one, 2023 (over a different issue), which still has never gotten a response from the developers in these past 2+ years. 😂😂😂
