No video Smooth Zoom on my S25U

Hi,

I have "smooth video zoom" on my S24U in "Pro Video" mode where I can use a slider, and the video is smoothly zoomed.

This feature should have made it to the S25U but it is not on my phone. I see YouTube videos showing the feature off, but I only have the "jerky" zoom.

I looked everywhere in settings and also tried tapping the 1x zoom circle, nothing brings up the slider.

Is this a bug?

North America phone with Samsung Camera (latest version) even wiped app cache, etc.

It's there, you have to make sure focus enhancer is turned off.

Hello, thank you for your answer.

I turned the focus enhancer off, no change to my zoom. I have only one zoom control, the yellow bars that I can slide, but its not smooth.

Galaxy S24U had a partially transparent bar with a dot in the center, and you could slide the dot, slowly, and the zoom would be smooth and it worked well.

Now with S25U, I dont have this tool in Video, or Pro Video modes anymore.

I found it.

You need to initiate video recording FIRST, THEN use the zoom slider that appears...

OK that was not intuitive, since you can zoom the other way before recording commences.
