So I bought a s 22 ultra unlocked from Samsung when it came out... and I seemed to like the tmobile phone... only because it seemed like the phone had more compatibility with t moblie... so I ordered the s 25 ultra t mobile instead of unlocked ... will the phone still be unlocked since it's paid for ... I actually want the t mobile logo when I turn it on ... I guess my question is it good or bad to have ordered the t mobile version
If both same price it will be best to go for unlocked version since people pay more for it when you sell it, also some websites such as oneplus will pay more for trade if you give them unlocked phone. Also, locked phones will force you to get apps that you don't need even after unlocking them and paid full price.
I prefer the unlocked versions because I travel a lot and it's easier to use local SIM cards for travel. But if you plan to stay with T-Mobile for whatever period until you can unlock it, you should be fine.
There's a unlock time period off top my head think it's like 60 or 90 days Bern sometime so could be off I got a text when I was able to unlock the phone did it in connection setting
