Just got an S25 and lost my entire customization via Good Locks.

So many changes in two years, bit the one chafing my you know is that the slider won't let me make my icons smaller than 90%.

What happened and how do we fix this?

[Please don't say resize icons individually.]

Sounds like you're already using Home Up. Unfortunately, that's as small as the icons will get in One UI. If you want them smaller, you will need to use a custom launcher (ex: Nova) that allows for more icon customization.

I was able to make them smaller using HomeUp, before the update.

Try pressing home screen look for settings at bottom right there should be an icon or app size slider hope that helps

DIY home will allow you to shrink icons and widgets smaller, but you will have to manually reduce the size of each icon, which I know you said you do not want to do. Unfortunately, this is the only way currently.

The best way to do this without having to do every icon one at a time would be to Initialize DIY home, enter edit mode, select all items you want to reduce in size, and pinch/corner drag the selected icons to the desired size.

Not what you wanted to hear, I'm sure. But the only other alternative is installing a third party launcher.

yea, every update they're getting more and more restrictive with the customization. I think it's time to jump ship.

It is 2026 and no customization means no money.
