After I bought the S25 Ultra with more than $200 discount, it was such a disappointment that I decided to return it.
It is 2025 and I did not expect that a company as big as Samsung would have such poor language support. Even though the phone was bought from the US, I thought any user should be able to download the language packs for the language they speak and it will support them. This is the case with Pixel and Apple.
I was supposed that when I set Arabic as my default language, the settings are shown in English. It turns out, after small search, Samsung users are suffering from this all over the world. I really did not expect that I have to go to the middle east to buy a Samsung phone that supports Arabic.
I know this issue is not a big deal to many users, but to me, I am just as a customer as that guy who's language is supported, why should he have a phone which supports his language and not me?

I am returning this phone and getting a Pixel 10 pro which Arabic can be downloaded and supported (I checked).

Such a disappointment and frustrating.

Some languages are downloaded from store
[Download and install Arabic language packs (if available) In Settings → General Management → Language Packs], see if “Arabic” is listed as a downloadable pack. Some users report “Arabic is now available for download from General Management → Language Packs” for Galaxy AI features. If your firmware region doesn’t allow it, it may not show. Could fail or be blocked. Moderate (if Samsung enables it for your model)
Switch CSC / region or flash firmware from an Arabic / Middle East region Flash a “Middle East / Arabic region” firmware using Odin or other tools, or change the CSC code to one that includes Arabic support. This can enable missing languages in the UI. High risk: may brick the phone, violate warranty, break network features, or lose carrier compatibility. Samsung may block bootloader unlocking (especially in newer One UI versions). Possible but advanced / risky
Use a custom ROM / community port Use a community ROM (e.g. from XDA) that has full Arabic support. Most risky, many trade-offs: security updates, features, warranty, stability, OTA updates. Feasible for power users
Use translation / overlay apps For apps that don’t translate, use third-party apps or overlay translation (e.g. Google Translate, other interpreter apps). For keyboard input, use keyboards like Gboard or SwiftKey with Arabic support. Doesn’t solve full system UI, only helps in apps / typing. Low to moderate utility
Request / petition Samsung Provide feedback through Samsung Members, communities, support channels , request proper Arabic support for your region / model. Samsung does sometimes release additional languages via updates. This is passive,no guarantee of action, and might take a long time. Low immediate effects.

Thanks for your response. Arabic is available in the language pack but it is not fully supported in this firmware. I don't want to download an unofficial firmware because 1 I don't know a reliable one 2 I don't want to void the warranty.
And most importantly, in pixel for example when you buy a pixel phone from anywhere in the world, you can download the language packs and it will fully support them.

With Samsung it depends of your region and firmware. Is it what is it.

I know. That's why Pixel is better.

I have an A54.  I count 6 different Arabic language variations that can be downloaded to the Samsung keyboard and 17 that can be downloaded to the Google keyboard.  They are listed in English alphabetical order, so perhaps you missed them.  In the Google keyboard, they are written in Arabic, in Samsung, in English.  I encourage anyone buying a new phone to stop by a physical store and work with the demo model to make sure it has the features and languages you want.

Thank you for your message. I. am not talking about keyboards

When I set the phone's language to Arabic as the default language, the settings remain in English except one. 1759873211316.jpg

When I go to languages in the settings for my phone, I see the Arabic - in Arabic.  You would have had to scroll all the way down. All the scripted languages (Cyrillic, Hebrew, Arabic, Sanskrit, etc.) are below the English "Z"
