I've noticed my phone alerts when idle despite no message
I've read it could be an attack from fake tower. Does s25 have the ability to reject null cipher connections?

No, it was a silent notification that woke the screen with no further information
I know it could be other things, but in researching I saw "rejecting null ciphers" as a solution and good general security
Wondering why it isn't available to toggle for security sake

depending on what message system I've had that happen on multiple devices and I went and disabled the general notification or background notification work for the messages app just left the new message notification on but most times it's probably doing background work general work and it's not a new message which only happens every so often, so easiest thing is just disable that and leave only the new message notification on or enabled
