I'm hearing rumors Samsung will charge for AI services next year?! 🤔 Samsung, any clarification on this? If true, I'll have to reconsider keeping my device. The price is already high enough! Yes Premium Ai features will be a paid subscription starting in 2026 but at the moment we don’t have any pricing or what AI features will be included in the subscription

They will be a fee for the premium ai because it’s not free to maintain and run the servers that handle all of the AI requests.

You will still have the basic Ai features and can opt into the more advanced features for a fee if you want to use them.

Well that is the economic system the vast majority of people buys into. The commodification of everything will always take first priority as long as people keep buying into consumerism.

What's ironic is that even the AI these corporations make will tell you this.

Problem is people WILL buy it which will justify them charging... If I have an option NOT to buy... I'm NOT buying.

If the only way to use it IS to buy it, then there should be an option to remove it all together... We're already paying out the nose and other orifices for these phones and service...

Even Google and Apple are soon to charge for AI features regardless of price for the device.

Google literally has a plan right now for you to try while paying for the top package of their One Plan.

Basically all phones as mentioned above will have basic AI features and if you want more advanced features it'll cost more.
