I just went from an iPhone 16 pro max to an S25 Ultra and I love everything about this phone. Honestly it's perfect in every way except for emoji reactions on images. I love that I share my great images with family and friends who all have iPhones, but when they all react to any image, I just get a notification text stating"Loved an image" or "liked an image", or pretty much whatever emoji was used to react to the image from an iPhone user, I just get the actual text instead of the emoji reaction. This is a huge deal breaker for me, because even though this phone is great in every way, the fact that it cannot fulfill a very simple RCS feature is very annoying when having to receive these reactions from iPhone users. Of course, a remedy for all of this would be for everyone to get a Galaxy but that's not happening anytime soon. Or just use Whatsapp but as iPhone users, it's hard to get those people to download anything. I know basic RCS functionality is available like emoji reactions on text messages, but for images and media, it is not. Hopefully Samsung can find a workaround on this or perhaps someone can provide some tips that I haven't tried yet to fix the RCS emoji reactions for images.

Apple designed their own RCS features, these are not available outside of apple, just like how you cannot get a Whopper at Wendys.  The only way to have these features back is to stay on iPhone.

You would need to contact Apple, this is happening because of them. Google did have a work around, but Apple being Apple they broke it.

That's on apple. They are intentionally doing that. In order for you to get that feature indefinitely, you're gonna have to either go back to an apple device or hope that apple stops being brats and just leave it be..

What messaging app are you using? If it's Google Messaging (default messaging app), open it up, then hit the circle in the upper right corner, then go to "message settings", then "advanced", then scroll down and see if "show iPhone reactions as emoji" is turned on...
