I'm considering purchasing the S25 Ultra so that I can use both my personal phone # and my private practice (mental health) phone #'s in ONE phone --- and do away w/ having to use two (2) phones.
Does anyone know whether one can use DIFFERENT/SEPARATE texting apps per SIM phone # on the phone????
B/c of privacy laws, I can't have my personal text msgs and any text msgs sent to my clients using the same texting app
I would love to upgrade from my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra (for personal use) and my Galaxy S20FE (private practice phone) and purchase one phone for both uses, but I must have a phone w/the capability of assigning a separate/different texting app to each SIM phone #

Download another message app. Use one for personal and the other for business.
Here is a short list of messenging apps to browse.

If the apps support dual messenger feature, yes. Otherwise, Android does not allow two different instances of the same app running. You can have the stock messaging app (Google Messages) and something like SMS Organizer and set them up to use different numbers but you can't use the same app with different numbers unless it supports dual messenger feature.
Install the apps, go to settings > Advanced features > Dual messenger. If the apps appear there, you're good to go with setting up two different profiles with each number. For me, only WhatsApp supports the feature.

Wow! Thank you so much. That's correct, I wouldn't want to use the same texting app for each number.
Currently, I use Google Messenger as my texting app on my personal phone/Note 20 Ultra and Textra as my texting app on my practice phone/ S20 FE. Textra is one of the few/maybe only apps that allows the user to create a default signature --- I use the signature block offered in Textra for my HIPAA disclosure.
So I'd want to use the same texting apps for each # on each/dual SIM on the S25 Ultra
