DEX not working

Just a heads up, Samsung Dex doesn't work on OneUI 7. Like the S pen, useful functionality has been stripped out. 

The alternative is to use Link to Windows, which I can't do. I used Dex to transfer text and files easily from my phone to my work computer, which doesn't allow the link to Windows application. 

Maybe the Galaxy S26 will remove the screen altogether and provide the workaround of "just guess what would be on your display"

Yeah fair. I tend to just use discord lmao. Free server. Free data storage. Nothing to download. Runs in browser. I abuse the heck out of that xD

The OP was referring to the windows app, hence copying and pasting text and files from phone to work computer. Dex wireless still works, because it's technically casting your screen to another screen.

My work computer has phone link already. I just can't sign in with the Microsoft account because my company has it blocked. It's not a matter of installation.
My company has weird and somewhat arbitrary group restrictions, and using Dex was their recommendation.

Well, bring it up to them, Cuz it's a One UI 7 feature.. So more phones will be like that.

I just use a C to HDMI. Don't have to install anything and worked for me.

That's just for a display. I already use my monitor for my pc. I need the Dex functionality
