Can't get into secure folder.

I can no longer get into my secure folder on my S25U. I also still have my S23U, which I have no problems accessing the same folder. I've even changed the code on my S23U's secure folder, thinking my S25U would maybe respond to the new code as well, but it doesn't respond to the new code on the S23U or the original code for both phones. Can someone pls help me.

Could you please explain you can't get into your secure folder in a little more detail? Are you getting any error message? Is it just freezing? What is it doing?

To the best of my knowledge, the Secure Folder apps are not linked together and the passwords are not shared either.

To transfer the contents from one phone to another it would require the user to move the files out of Secure Folder, transfer them to the new device, then secure them once again.

Though, I'll admit, this may not be the case if using the Smart Switch app.

I dont think he moved the folder to the new phone is think he just tried to change the password on old one thinking it would sync though his Samsung account and they dont. Secure folder dosent even have remote lock/unlock. Just rhe backup in Samsung cloud so you can restore if you loose access.

Listen, when switching from ALL my phones to the new one, I've ALWAYS used Smartswitch. However, the aforementioned isn't as "smart" as the name implies. Meaning, it's far from perfect with me. It never really moves everything the way it's supposed to. It has been several months now with the S25U, and I do believe ALL of that folder was moved over properly. Now, I can't remember if smartswitch moved everything OR if I did it manually. But I can tell you is I HAVE been in the folder on the new device up until recently. It just seems I'm locked out for some reason and I don't understand why. It no longer accepts the code I've always used and doesn't give the option for fingerprint, like before. It's been perhaps a little over a month with no access on my new device.

At this point, since you have your old phone, I would suggest that you reset Secure Folder, and create a new password for it, then manually move the old files to you new phone.
