Galaxy S25@SweetTasha The best way is to install Smart Switch on your PC or Mac, connect your phone, and run the Smart Switch Backup feature. This will create a copy on your computer. I also recommend opening File Explorer on your computer, accessing your phone's directory, and copying the entire phone directory to a Backup folder on your PC. I do both of theses once a Month this way if my phone is lost and I get a new one all I have to do is run smartswitch restore and it will copy everything back to your phone.

Galaxy S25If you don't have a PC or Mac, you can attach a USB-C thumbdrive (or USB-A thumbdrive with an adapter) to the phone and use Smart Switch External storage transfer to back up the phone on the thumbdrive.
You can access the External storage transfer from Settings >> Accounts and backup >> External storage transfer (under Smart Switch).

Galaxy S25bawaji,
I do have a Windows 10 PC, but I don't have a cable to connect the flash drive to the phone.๐ซ. However, I found an adapter to connect the flash drive to the phone. It's running at this moment. 48% done. I think the flash drive has a 9GB capacity. Hope that is big enough.
Regards,

Galaxy S25SweetTasha,
If you have a Windows 10 PC, you should hopefully be able to use the USB-C charger cable and an adapter if the PC doesn't have a USB-C port. I have the same situation but I purchased a cable that has USB-A at one end and USB-C at the other to connect the phone to the PC. Smart Switch backs up the phone to my PC without any issues.
9GB flash drive may not be enough if you are backing up the whole phone.
Hope it works out for you.

Galaxy S25I don't know whether this is significant:
I didn't try Device Recovery Guide. Should I?
Thanks for your help,
