"Time to take action" setting inadequate

Am I the only one who finds "default" and 10 seconds as too big a gap? Namely, "default" is too short and 10 seconds is too long. Also, I think "default" should be better named "adaptive" or "varied" as the system determines the time based on conditions and activity.

Well, I was hoping if there is a way to specify a timing between "default" and 10, or an app that could override this setting with a more appropriate timing.🙏

The people who need to use this assistive feature usually have coordination or fine motor skills deficits. For some, even 10 seconds might not be long enough.

I can see that. For me, I actually try to read, then decide what to do with, these pop-up messages. With chat pop-ups and volume pop-up, the default timing is too fast for me to do anything proper except to blindly click on them. If I can set the timing to 6 seconds, I would feel more comfortable.

Interestingly, the only complaint I could find on the Internet is that the default timing is too *long*. I suspect they are those who only want to quickly know where the pop-ups came from so they can continue on what they are working on.

Wow i was just saying the same , I got mine set to 10secs but definitely wish it was a in-between option , on default I never see what it says

I'm actually surprised there is no "custom" option.  Some people can read those "toasts" faster than others and those that need more time, may not need as long as 10 seconds.  I'm more surprised at the subsequent gaps between 10 seconds and 30 seconds a 1 minute and 2 minutes.  What if one only needs 5 seconds or a tidge longer than 10 seconds (12 seconds)?
