Group chat text issues

Hello, has anyone run into issues with group chats and not receiving messages sent by others? I've been experiencing this with one of my chats where some MMS messages are not going thru (I am not seeing them at all) and today, i was not even gettint any messages via a group chat. Others in my chat use iPhone though. Did Samsung make some changes to messaging that we need to be aware of? TYIA

A few things to check:

- Do you have mobile data enabled?
- Do you have MMS enabled?
- Have you cleared cache and restarted your device?
- Have you previously used an iPhone? If so, did you disassociate iMessage from your phone number?

Thanks so much! Yes to having mobile data and MMS enabled and I do periodically clear cache (just did it again on Messages app) and have restarted device. Never used an iPhone previously nor an iMessage. Always been an android person!

Did you clear your device's cache by entering recovery mode, or just the Messages app cache? If none of these steps help, I would recommend reaching out to your carrier.

I'm getting error message, unable to send on group chat for text, gif and links was advised may have to factory reset which I'm not wanting to do

OMG, I would absolutely love it if I didn't get every recipient's responses. Is your group chat a large group?  People have been known to create a sub group and respond only to people in the sub group, for whatever their reasons may be. I have a group chat with my sisters and one cousin, and sometimes I will just respond to my cousin directly outside the group - and I wish my sisters would do the same.

Totally get it! Nope, just 4 people in the chat. First pictures wouldn't go thru, and today I didnt get any messages back but if I send an individual message, everything works normally (text, pictures, etc come thru). But yeah, group chats can be much at times, lol
