USB Type C cable or phone issue?

What does it mean when you plug in your phone with USB type C, when one side of the plug doesn't work but when you flip the plug over and re-plug it, it's now working. It's it more a phone issue or a cable issue?

That's very strange. It's must be something new or an update I haven't noticed because back when I had my S21 Ultra, I never experienced that. Now I'm owning my S24 Ultra.

@Jason29 Either the cable is defective or the port on the phone is damaged.
