I have a s24 ultra and since the latest update my setup wizard keeps coming up telling me I need to put my sim card in or it isn't installed correctly. But it is I have not messed with it at all. Message comes up 1-4 times a day. Any help is appreciated

Could be that the contacts on the SIM card need cleaning. This happened to me several years ago. I took the SIM card out, cleaned the contacts off, and replaced it. No problems since!

Pop your sim out and back in. That might fix it

Hello userOaazHTp35H, welcome to the Samsung Community. I understand your concerns with your device showing a message to insert a sim card. Most issues with your SIM card will need to be resolved by your carrier. Before you contact them, there are a couple of things you can try.

Remove the SIM card and inspect it for damage or corrosion. Reinsert the SIM card, making sure it is properly installed in the tray.

On most models, the SIM card should be placed on the tray with the gold-colored contact facing upwards. If you insert the tray into the slot while the SIM card is placed improperly, the SIM card may not be recognized.

Try another Sim Card

If your SIM card continues to have issues, you will need to get a replacement SIM card from your carrier. You can also try contacting your carrier if you continue to have issues with the SIM card.
If you have verified that your SIM is working and active, your device requires service. Please visit a Samsung walk-in service center or you can schedule a repair service online.

This is not needed from the carrier. It's from the latest software update for the s25 ultra. Was fine till the update came in. Now it does this 1-4 times daily. Cleaned sim card. When message comes up I still have service. Also it takes me to my secure folder which has nothing to do with my SIM card. I think there may have been a few bugs in that large update.

This is related to the update.

This is happening to a lot of people. It's the software update, not the SIM card or an issue with the carrier. Thousands of people have already reported the same issue. We can only hope it will be resolved with another update soon.
