When i go into the camera app and click on a picture to share via e-mail it looks like it sends it, but nothing comes to the e-mail I send it to.  I've tried verizon network and wifi, neither works.  Appreciate any help. Brian

When I go to my gallery and open an image on my S23 Ultra the share button lets me choose from a wide variety of apps. When I click Gmail it automatically opens a new email message with the picture attached there. What email app are you using?

When I click on a picture and then the share icon I have two options.   Comcast account or my gmail account neither is sending like with the S10.  I am getting an error message for a red icon email, I think is samsung, that I am not sign into my gmail account, but I am .  When I click on my gmail icon on my phone it works.

I think this is the samsung e-mail controlling things?  Wants me to log into my gmail account using google, but give samsung access to everything, which I don't want to do.

Well, if you do not give an app the permissions it requires, then it will not work as expected.  Gmail is Google (Google Mail) and Google and Samsung have a symbiotic relationship. Any Android phone or any brand you use will still require you to log into whatever email account you are using to send files via email.

It's OK, I'm old too. Yes, an app won't work if it does not have the proper permissions. They are not arbitrary. You cannot send an email if you are not logged into your email account. Gmail is a Google service, so you must be logged into your Google account to send an email from an outside app. If you went into you email first, and then attached a picture, you ate already logged into your Gmail account. Sending a file from outside the email app requires the login.

Thanks.  I tried connecting the phone to the computer hard drive and loading the image in pictures on the hard drive, but for some reason the image from the phone doesn't show up?  It shows older images, but not those taken this morning.

Weird to me.

Thanks again.  Brian

I set up samsung e-mail.  Still can't send pictures as an attachment to an e-mail.  Would someone at a verizon store be able to help me?  thanks.  Brian

If Verizon is your carrier they should be willing. Depends on the friendliness of the staff., since it's not technically a phone issue. Have you tried opening your email first and then selecting the photo to attach?
