16 is in beta already, No sign at all on 15 yet!
How late do you reckon 16 will be but this rate is going to be a year or more late.
I will never buy a Samsung flagship phone again never.

My bet is that they'll tie Android 16 south an upgraded version of One UI 7. It's much less complicated than you think. One the One UI 7 side it wouldn't be much different than a system update would be in a way much like it was doing 6.0 to 6.1

Oh, k... I'll try to rephrase, i guess? I was suggesting that Samsung could upgrade to Android 16 while still using One UI 7 if necessary. The difference between Android upgrades has been getting incrementally smaller with every version. Instead of updating the One UI with every Android upgrade, since One UI 7 is 3 months behind, it would likely be much wiser and far easier to stagger One UI and Android upgrades, so they could focus on optimizing one at a time which would help them integrate them far more seamlessly.

The simplest way i can possibly put it would be to say that Samsung should focus on one target at a time instead of trying to hit two birds with one stone.

This is just the insights and suggestions coming from an Android dev that is primarily tasked with doing security probing, aka Ethical Hacking, on things i can not legally disclose due to a currently binding NDLA. This, however, is solely my opinion on the best way for Samsung to move forward and away from the current dumpster fire of a situation they have created by their own lack of insightful thought. Instead of using even semi experienced testers on the One UI 7 Beta like they have basically every time before this, they just opened up the floodgates and let anyone with a pulse foremost the Beta until it was full. Hopefully, they learned a lesson. I currently have 2 Galaxy S24 Ultras, but only one is rooted and running One UI, and I'm still on One UI 6.1 because I was literally in a coma when the One UI Beta was released. My other phone is dual booted with Developer OS skin for Android 15 and a "lite" version of Ubuntu on Linux. It is used more to run virtual devices from a Windows 11 PC to a Google Nexus/Pixel or Chrome OS. Basically, anything but Apple Products.

Alas, I should really go knock out a couple of course modules for the certifications I need to do what I actually want to do for a living. Building and tuning racecars on stand-alone ECUa as well as reflash tuning OEM production ECUa. Leading to a fun, challenging job, as my own boss, all whilst laying on my crippled **bleep** in bed. Oh, what a wonderful world we have to live in. I don't need my legs when I have my brain, a laptop, and an old lady spec, a complete sleeper Grand Cherokee powered by a handbuilt 5.7L Hemi V8. When your brain can't help but work as a mechanical construct with "M.A.I. Software" driving it, you gotta be doing 3 things at once, or you feel like you're watching time go by, and every second feels like you just wasted an opportunity. As I write this, I'm also working on a little passion project that will basically let me completely tune a person's vehicle, anywhere you can get 4G on the planet, through pretty much any web browser whether the person has a laptop or a phone. Html apps are fun like that. It keeps me from having to develop a different an interface for Apple crapple also.

Have a fantastic night y'all. It's 23° and snowing over here next to Yellowstone. Time for coffee and a hearing pad.
✌️ & 🤟 y'all,

Sorry to hear about your problem, bro. Meant no disrespect. I just couldn't tell what you were saying. It's simply frustrating that we've waited this long already, and now we have to continue to wait so they can sell more s25 units. That's what this holdup really is all about. Next to Yellowstone, eh? Hope no immediate eruptions occur, lol. I do hope the cold passes soon.

I think you're jumping the gun here a little bit you also have to understand this is the fastest update cycle we've ever seen going from 14 to 15 now yes I believe I'm actually on beta 2 of Android 16 on my pixel 9 pro XL but I'm actually more upset that there is an infinite enrollment for my Google devices but only my s24 was able to get into the beta program and my s24 ultra can't and I haven't taken this the time to manually flash it

Why flash it? The s24 got a note from Samsung like 3 or 4 days ago saying the beta is closed and the stable version is coming soon. Sounds like you're clueless like most in here.

Besides there's trade-offs on Samsung for a long time you've been able to unlock your phone with the screen completely off as long as you remembered about where the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner was my pixel 9 pro XL lonely got that feature in the Android 16 beta
