The Samsung email app now wants access to audio files and will not enable email reply without that access. I don't send audio files and never will, notifications are disabled so no tones need be accessed or sent. This is beyond stupid and now requires me to use other devices to send email replies. This permission is not required on my other devices.
Your objection to giving the required permissions is...what? If you feel the permissions are unnecessary, there are many other email apps out there that don't require that permission. It's probably so you can send a voice message in your email the way you can with text messages. Even if you never do it, and never intend to do it, it still requires the permission.
