S24 Plus Getting Abnormally Hot

I've had my s24 Plus for about a year and a half now. I've never had any issues with it getting hot until about a couple of months ago. I notice the phone typically the top half of the screen gets so hot during very light use to the point where it's uncomfortable to even hold it. All I do on my phone is pretty much watching YouTube videos or going on other social media apps. I don't do any gaming or anything demanding. Whenever it gets hot it also starts to drain my battery super fast. The only thing I can do to temporarily fix it is by restarting the phone which makes the temperature go down but only for maybe a day and it's back to getting hot again. I've tried clearing partition cache and cache from my apps but none of that has helped. What's weird is that it doesn't always happen. Some days I could watch videos perfectly normally and other days it starts to get burning hot after 1 video. I'm not sure what could be causing this as I'm not using my phone any different from what I did last year. Just wanted to see if anyone has any experience with this sort of issue that can help.

I have the same issue for about a year and same thing with my s25 ultra.Both samsung and youtube are ignoring the issue.Youtube background usage is too high and causing overheating and battery drain.It happens when you watch youtube for a period of time or when multitasking while using youtube.This was never an issue before and i also tried everything but i didn't find any solution

Yes, you are correct. It is an issue, it isnt going away, and it is not being addressed which is very frustrating. Im pretty good at troubleshooting issues, and this is just something that can't be fixed by clearing cache or checking thermal Guardian and Limiting cpu boosting,and turning off background play and so on. I shouldnt have to do any of thos things to enjoy my "Ultra" device.. Something happens when watching clips or shorts when you go to comment and start writing it immediately starts overheating within 2 minutes the phone is hot. Restart app, and all is good. That is an issue and it needs to be addressed asap. Can somebody please point us in an actual direction that will get somebody to look into this issue. Thanks in advance. 🙏

I emailed google multiple times.Check under youtube app in playstore,there are 2 emails addresses but they never got back to me and samsung doesn't care about the issue too because they can reach out to google to fix this issue.For now i use my iphone more because youtube is my primary app
