I've had my galaxy S24 plus for about a year and a half now. I've never had any issues with it getting hot until about a couple of months ago. it's been getting abnormally hot on the top half of the phone where it's completely hot to the touch during very light use. My usage of my phone is basically just watching videos on YouTube or going on other social media apps. I don't do any gaming or any other demanding work on it. I have never had this issue before even though I was using the phone the exact same way. I've also noticed that it doesn't happen all the time. Sometimes it's perfectly normal and other times it starts to get extremely hot just by watching 1 video. So far the only way I can temporarily fix it is by restarting the phone which makes it act normal for a couple of days before it starts to get hot again. I've already tried clearing cache from my apps and the phone cache partition but none of that has helped. Just wanted to know if anyone else has any experience with this issue.
