Hello people I'm kinda planning to buy a new phone for around 45k, S24 seems nearly perfect, I really like it's compactness and the software experience, but my only concern with the phone is it's battery backup, my current phone gives me a SOT of 3 hours from 100 to 20%, my usecase is 12 hours in mobile data and 3 hours of Bluetooth + travel, what SOT can I expect for 100 to 20% in snapdragon variant of s24?

Point taken, especially when every day there's someone on here claiming to be hacked .

I have a S24 FE, and I get around a day and half at 100%-0%, and around a day for 85%-20%. Though, I don't use my Bluetooth that often.

It's surprising to me that with all the people so obsessed with their battery percentage, they don't have a better grip on how many uptime hours they have on their device so they can know whether they should grab a power bank or charging block before they go out. It's not like the battery settings don't tell you that you have x amount of hours left.

Depends on their daily routines and practices. Not many actively keep track what and how long their tasks take. I find that people who have to do many tasks daily, squeeze in or reschedule tasks often, or often need to maintain a daily planner are often the ones who are well aware of their time demands and requirements.

Oh, please. The way so many went ballistic because of the chang in battery indicator, or how their battery is draining, many of them are very aware of whether their battery will last for the period of time they will be out and about.

It wouldn't mean that those complaining about the indicator change are the same ones who find themselves short on battery. Then there is the factor of what & how many power hungry apps they have installed and constantly use. I find if I spend too much time on the Amazon app or on certain websites, my battery gets drained more than I would have liked. I noticed one poster in this Members app who apparently was used to only 7 hours uptime/SOT on a modern phone. It was that 7 hours limit on my old phone that finally convinced me that it was time to get a new phone.

I guess what I'm saying is you should allow people a benefit of doubt; people have varying life and lifestyles, and normally have their own logical reason behind their questions or complaints or emotions.
