Phone not supporting fast charging

The phone is not supporting super fast or fast charging irrespective of the adapter or cable bei ng used. I have been facing this issue for the pa st 5 days. Right when I charge my phone using a fast charger, it shows super fast charging but i t immediately moves to regular charging a few seconds later.

I've also enabled the fast charging settings and even restarted my phone

Disable battery protection. If on auto it will limit your charging speed to keep the phone at 80 percent

I have the s24 plus. Did you try factory reset? Also your charging port may be dirty. They sell cleaning tools. Also are you plugging the brick straight into the wall outlet or are you plugging into an extension cord? That affected my fast charging as well

I didn't try the factory reset and I'm plugging directly into a wall outlet. Maybe I need to try cleaning the charging port like you've said

Yeah also make sure you look up proper cleaning steps. If using a bristle brush you do circular rotations motion rotate insert rotate like cleaning your ears lol dont be dumb like me and scrub side to side i ruined my phone once
