I'm still having a few issues with UI 8. One of them is my phones background flashing/flickering when closing apps. It's very intermittent. I've resarted the phone about 2 times but only resolves it temporarily. I have not got into recovery mode I don't feel comfortable doing so. If I have to I will take the phone to a expert and have them whipe the cache. I got the phone checked and it has no hardware or malware on the phone. I just want to know if anyone has experienced this or just animation glitches in general after ui 8. I got the latest security patch but it has not fixed the issue. Last time my screen flickerd we whiped the cache and did factory reset and found it to be an app but the flicker was able to be recreated and happened every time. This is very random, I just want to know if maybe I should look into warranty the phone or if this is just software issues from UI 8 and I need to wait for a official fix for it

Yes I do and I did what I did last time which was uninstall it and reinstall it. The first time fixed the issue and never had a problem after. I did the same thing this time and I'm still having a few issues with the phone. UI 7 did not cause me any issues at all. These all started either after ui 8 or October security patch. I need the app on my phone because it is for work. Ive cleared the cache in every app as well. Only thing I havent done was go into recovery mode. I don't fell comfortable doing it. I just wanna know if this is just me or if other people are still experiencing issues after this update and are waiting for fixes

Boot into safe mode. If the flickering stops, you'll know it was caused by a third-party app. You'll have to eliminate them one by one, but at least you'll know the culprit.

The problem is I can't recreate it. It's to random. I won't even know if safe mode works because I wouldnt do it for a week and now it's doing it again. Before I was able to recreate the flicker but this time I can't. I'm wondering if maybe it's a lag when closing apps or an animation glitch as the apps close. I'm also wondering if maybe it's the bloatware from T-Mobile that's not compatible with the phones new software. I can't uninstall anything that T-Mobile did. They added all these extra things that I can't get rid of

The app you need for work could very well need to be updated to work with Android 16. Contact the app developers. Contact info will be under "app support" in the Play Store listing.

I emailed them. It doesn't say there is an update needed but we shall see. Another apps I've had on here I've had before updated to UI 8. I don't really understand why it's doing it and it sucks cause I feel like it's only happening to me. I'm still paying on this phone so I can't do anything about it. I don't really think its an app tho since I can't recreate it. It just does it randomly. Only when I close out the app. I don't know if other people have been experiencing animation glitches

Haven't heard of any. Doesn't mean it's not happening to others, but this where people come to complain.

I havent seen a lot of people posting to many issues. Only a few of them. I just don't know if whats happening will break the phone or if it's just something that needs an official fix from Samsung when they do there monthly updates. Just sucks not having anyone else experienceing the same or similar issues

If others are not experiencing what you are, it's probably a safe bet that it's something unique to your device, like that work app. What happens if you temporarily uninstall it? Does the flickering stop?

If you don't want to attempt clearing device cache in recovery (it literally takes less than a minute), do you know someone who is technically inclined? Maybe they can help you with it. There's no risk to any of your data, as long as you don't highlight and execute "wipe data/factory reset." If you're still nervous, back up your data prior to attempting it.
