Carriers will start getting the S24 version on the 7th-10th and then they will edit it and send it out to older models

Sorry but no the S23’s won’t be getting it on the 10th that’s when Carriers will get the S24 update to start there testing and modifications to push the S23’s is still in beta so another few weeks before it gets released

They are on there last beta now and the full released non beta program will be released on the 10th not saying that the s23 Ultra will get the update on the same date as the s24 line up will

The way Samsung is rolling out these updates is kind of like giving their customers 💩. Some say it's so you'll buy the newest phone to get the update or wait months to get the update. I used to really like Samsung phones but not really so much any more. They've killed off features i really liked. Samsung likes to copy so many things from the iPhone, so why not release the os upgrades all at the same time like Apple does?

First off, because Samsung does not create the OS, just a shell onto it, so they are entirely dependent on when Google releases the Android from which it is based, whereas Apple creates their own OS.

Secondly because there is far too much differences between each android model, that the OS for one, may need to be altered to be compatible with the other.  Apple devices all run on the same base architecture So when you develop for one I-Device, you are developing for all of them.
