I just got a galaxy s24 and I can't seem to stop the notification sounds when a call is coming in. The phone rings but I also get the notification sound twice while it is ringing. How to stop this? I have gone into system apps and in one of the 3 phone apps I found a setting "incoming calls". I set the notification sound to "silent" but it didn't make a difference. Please help- the notification sound (twice) is so annoying.
Last ditch effort would be to factory reset the phone and start over and see if that fixes. Back up your phone to a computer using Smart Switch first, they offer different version for Mac and Windows for computer. I have only done a factory reset once on a different phone about 2 years ago and I would only do it if I was at my wits end and then I would think twice.
You could send feedback through the Members app, it will include a system log of your phone. I assume it will help them fix a bug before the next update release.
It will be next month before Samsung releases One UI7 with Android 15, who knows if that will fix the issue though but maybe reporting the bug through feedback might help.
I really don't want to do a factory reset either. I am glad to hear about a software update coming. I think I will send the logs as you suggested. I will also look at Nice Catch as Realaud suggested. And lastly I will wait for the UI update to see if that helps. Running out of other options. Thanks again.
