Well, if you have 2 step verification on, you will get a prompt on all your devices when you attempt to log in on a device you a) have not logged into before or b) have not logged into for a while - 90 days, I think, or c) you had your Windows computer turned off and then turned it back on (Windows has a protective measure where it logs you out of certain sites if you turn the computer off). You will need to verify from one of the other devices. Same thing with a Samsung logon. Both entities do this now as it appears more secure than sending an OTP - sometimes they switch up the verification methods.
