Hello, I need help if there is anybody out there that can help me.

I recently did the update to Android 15.

After doing so it changed my network from LTE to 4G.
I contacted Samsung and my service provider they were no help which isn't a surprise. My carrier is Cspire ๐Ÿ˜’
I contacted Cspire after the update to tell them what happened.

They had nothing but excuses.
They said the service in my area is poor. That's why I have 4G. I've had LTE for over 14 years as a Network.
Before the update my service was fine no issue. LTE service worked great.

Now I have the 4G and it is so SLOW and most of the time I have no service. They claim 4G and LTE is the same. I don't believe that because if it was then the 4G should work.
I did a factory reset Samsung said it would fix the problem. Didn't work still 4G.

And they said I should be able to change my service within the connection settings use the NETWORK MODE.
My Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra doesn't have Network Mode.
My carrier isn't going to help all they want is money. Samsung isn't no help and it was their stupid update that messed my service up.
I've tried everything fron reset the network settings to factory reset
Please can someone help me?
How can I change my network back to LTE?

The S24 does have this feature, and this feature can be disabled by your carrier.  It is one of the dirty little secrets that carriers use to convince people to buy from them instead of a carrier unlocked device.  The moment your sim gets provisioned, it disables said menu.  Very few at your carrier will even know this is happening, and will likely deny it, despite it being the truth for why this option is missing.

And answer your questions Realaud
Because my phone network changed to 4g from lte
I contacted Samsung and my service provider
They said I could change it back by going into connection settings and accessing the Network Mode to choose which network I wanted
My phone doesn't have that option
And no it doesn't let me choose 5g
It only let me to allow 5g service
My phone is capable
I had it until I did the Android 15 update
Yes I reset the mobile settings after factory reset and got a new e-sim profile

Android 15 changed some settings.  The only setting for the networks now, apparently, is to allow or not allow 5g service.  If the slider is on, when 5g is not available, it will connect with 4g/4gLTE.  It may or may not say LTE, it may just say 4G.  Since every modern phone is LTE and every cell tower in the US provides LTE service, your phone should be connecting to LTE even if it does not say so.  That may be one of the changes in Android. I don't know, I do not have the update yet.  If your internet traffic is slow over mobile, there really is no significant different in speed between 4g and 4gLTE, there is something else causing the slowdown.  If you think you are having issues because your phone does not say LTE in the connection icon, then you will have to reset your mobile network. It is the only way.  If you do not want to do it yourself, your company's tech support can do it for you remotely. But it is easier and faster to do it yourself.  If the setting was changed by the *Android* update, you are barking up the wrong tree with Samsung, you need to contact Google, as they wrote the code.

You said you contacted Samsung.  How?  By phone?  Put in an error report and make sure your phone logs are included.  You have gone as far as you can go here, in a peer-to-peer user help forum, as no user can help you with this, especially if you will not take their suggestions.

As an FYI, the little symbols for connection like 3g, 4g, 4gLTE, 5Ge, 5guc, etc are all carrier specific.  These are included with the image that your sim card installs on the device with provisioning.  It is entirely possible that the update wiped away the old symbols, and that the sim card does not have these, so the device is simply going with the default icon of 4G, despite it actually being on 4G LTE.  This is only speculation, but could be the cause of your issue.

Are you sure the little icon that displays 4G doesn't also say LTE? LTE would be turned sideways and vertical and it is very small and barely legible but then I have an S24 which has a smaller screen.

Since you contacted your carrier and they have said that 4G and LTE are the same on their network then it is.

I am on a Verizon owned sub carrier and in a 4G LTE only area, even on premium data that is not being deprioritized I have super slow speeds during the daytime. If you are not getting premium data on your plan with Cspire such as using up your allotment of premium data your speeds would be slowed down.

Here is an image from online what the 4G LTE symbol looks like but as I mentioned the LTE on my S24 I need a magnifying glass to even read what it says.
