Ubreakifix repaired and said the device was mistreated! I haven'ta clue how this could have happened! A NEW phone less than 90 days old requires a LED repair of $340. I'm very unhappy about this. Looking to understand if my faith in Samsung is misplaced. I feel I've been taken!

Note that the phone has no damage! The screen just went white. Couldn't use the phone at all! I was forced to fix it and was told it's my fault! "Maybe it got damaged in your purse if something pressed on the screen." ...really? It's that frail?

So for starters, there is no reason to reply to your own post as the only comment within the thread, you can EDIT your post to add the new content and information.

Secondly, you state that the people at youbreakifix told you that the damage was caused by mistreatment, they are not Samsung.  Thay are an authorized repair place for Samsung, that does not make them Samsung.

Believer it or not, but when your place an item in your purse, it is not magically bubble-wrapped and protected.  A purse is a large space where things can go bouncing around and collide with each other.  You could also sit on your purse or wedge it into an area that causes un-due stress to the items inside.

Apologies for replying to my message. I'm clearly new here.

When you say Ubreakifix is not Samsung, I understand. Samsung customer service was not helpful which was upsetting

It's possible the screen had damage or other issues when you got it did you buy it new or used

I bought it new, however the box was not sealed when it was taken out. I'm suspicious of that as well.
