Galaxy S24The phone is updating itself to the latest security updates. You don't have to OK them, they will install automatically. They have to be installed in turn, depending on how many updates were not given to the new phone. If 5 updates were missed, you will get 5 updates. I would think, that as someone who has experienced hacking, you would want your phone to be secure. Just let the updates happen.

Galaxy S24Well, the updates (real updates) come as a notification with a specific symbol in your status bar. They give you a warning to install now, schedule or allow it to install automatically (and it tells you when it will-usually within 3 days). You can tap on the update notification, and it will give you info on what the update contains, and it has a very consistent look to it, so you will know it's legitimate. Your "about phone" software information will also tell you the update versions, and the date (note, the date may not be the date it is asking to be installed). For instance, the update can be dated January 1 but not be available for install until January 27 (or in your case, now). Take note of your current security update version numbers and dates. I don't think that most spyware is sophisticated enough to change that information. If you have auto blocker on, it should prevent anything but official software from being installed.
