DIY PREVENTS LANDSCAPE MODE

Recently I inquired why my S24U was disabled from Landscape Mode with the Homescreen. It was because I was using DIY. 

So is it possible to jus have the Homescreen disabled but still allow apps to go Landscape Mode (with apps in Pop Up windows view.)

Bc the App in full-screen will swivel to Landscape, but its the popUp view that wont go Landscape. 

And thats my true issue. I really dont mind the homescreen not going landscape, its the pop up view of an app that I want to use in landscape while still using DIY. 

Its probably not possible now, but maybe with a good software update... come on Samsung, I know u can do it.

DIY home does not prevent apps from rotating to landscape, only the home screen.

so y can't the App in popUp windows go into landscape mode without having an app running full-screen behind it?

DIY disables screen rotation while on the home screen. The same behavior occurs without DIY Home when home screen rotation is disabled.

If you have a pop up app window over the home screen, it won't rotate because you are still on the home screen.

@WLDM DIY is Beta. If you experience issues or desire a change in operation, I recommend that you submit a bug report.

Ok so the problem isn't DIY...
I HAVE auto Rotate turned on and the pop up window still will not rotate with it over the homescreen.. it will only rotate if there is an app in full screen under the pop up window

@WLDM If I understand your scenario correctly... you have the option enabled for home screen rotation, DIY OFF, you are at the home screen and you have an app opened in pop-up mode.

I just tried this. I am able to rotate the phone and it rotates properly, home screen and the pop-up app. I tried on a Fold 7 and an S25 Ultra. 

You could have a 3rd party app preventing proper operation. And you can always submit a bug.

Wow... you were right on...
So, bc you mentioned bug.... what I did, I turned DIY on and off x4 and then went to the rotating icon and flipped that on and off 4 or 5 times. It now works. And to think it was just a bug
