Contacts : Groups issue

Around May 2nd I updated to AI and I've learned that on contacts made some changes but one thing that was bad was selection of groups was not accessible. Although the groups are still located within the contacts I immediately sent a notice to message AI people and they said they'll get back to me as soon as they are Developers look into it and fix it hopefully. As we all know those group modes can be beneficial because some of them could be medical issues health issues and for the older folks like me funeral issues at the end of time. Where can somebody find our data without having a category to look for. So if any of you have this summer problem pay attention to it cuz group mode is very important to your life your Club friends your best friends your family members your medical people etc.

@userHqO407UbOn I really don't quite understand your post after reading it a couple of times. Groups is still easily accessible in the Contacts app. It is located directly below Favorites, Just added (if applicable), and above the letter A.

Since the AI update in my SG 24 I can see my groups but I can't access them in group mode and the AI team is trying to work on it when they will be fixed I do not

I don't even understand how this has anything to do with AI at all. All they did was make a minor change to the contacts app.

Well if you use the group contact mode and you contact information in Samsung prior to AI you should have been able to pull up the group mode that you've assigned to people in your database now that is part of the entry when you initially put anybody in your system then when you do that you have a to create a group name and when you go into look for somebody like your medical information your insurance information you have a sign all your Doctors Hospitals friends Club friends and they would be in that group it would be easier than finding the name of a person you slightly remember but in the group mode you can easily scan through a shorter list which you've assigned to each individual in a group. Basically it's a software glitch a ice created by people with various ifs ands or but issues well it was an oversight as presented to the creators of the AI and I hope within the next 10 years they remember how to fix it you know. Because if you live that long they will understand. Sorry I had a little sarcasm to it but that is generally how it all works

I'm sorry, do you know what punctuation is? When you put contacts in groups, you can send group texts or other group actions. You can do this with or without AI. There are no AI functions in contacts. Unless you are referring to actions that can be performed by Bixby or Gemini.

I was not putting it into group mode for sending emails or texts I have groups so I can retrieve names my phone book a lot quicker than flipping down 500 different names and seeing oh that one or that one. Groups consolidates people into categories so I can look up their name and phone number easier.

I understand what groups are, I have several set up myself. I'm just saying none of that has anything at all to do with AI, so I'm puzzled as to why you would contact the AI team. If your contacts app is not behaving properly, clear your phone cache. There could be leftover temp files interfering.

He changed occurred when I updated my Samsung s24 with the AI system one minute it was there the next minute the ability to do that was gone. Pick her to you or did you never use the system.

You did an update and did not clear the phone cache. Something in the update evidently crossed wires. Clear your cache. But it still has nothing to do with AI just because it happened after an AI update.
