Since I updated to UI 7, the location icon has started showing in the top bar. I know phone services use it constantly, but before, it only appeared when an app used the location. Please fix this.

You can hide the indicator with the QuickStar module in Good Lock. 1745784596919.jpg

What are you referring to?  The only way to turn them on or off has always been through Quick Star or by turning location access off using the Quick Panel icon.  Usually, even with the location access on, the icon would only pop up when location services was in use.  Perhaps something is running in the background that is keeping the icon visible, or you set an app permission to use location all the time instead of when app is in use.

The thing is I didn't change anything regarding to location setting after update. Just after update my phone and unlock it, I notice the icon and expected to disappear after some day or something.

Check any apps that may be running in the background. You had an update, something could be switched on. Or it could just be Google, as the find app needs location access all the time.  Anyway, you now have a way to hide it...not going to stop it from running, but will keep the icon off the status bar.
