I am having difficulties in getting the "Chat Translate" function to work on my duplicate Whatsapp created by Dual Messenger function in Samsung. Does anyone else have the same issues? If so, how did you resolve it?

Hello all, welcome to the Community, and thanks for reaching out about this. Have you tried it with other Dual Messenger compatible applications, and see if the Chat Translate feature works there? If you have, and it's only WhatsApp behaving this way, you can try clearing the app's cache and data, to see if this corrects the behavior: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00077611/

If just WhatsApp is misbehaving even after the troubleshooting, it would be best to reach out to the WhatsApp developers for further assistance, to ensure compatibility with these two features together.

If the behavior is present in more than just WhatsApp with Dual Messenger being used, you can try clearing the device's cache partition:  - Power off your device.
 - While the device is powered off, simultaneously press and hold the power and volume up buttons.
 - Once the Samsung logo appears, release both buttons. Your device should boot into recovery mode.

Using the volume buttons to navigate and the power button to select:

 - Navigate to "wipe cache partition" and press power.
 - Select yes to confirm.
 - Navigate down to "Repair apps" and press power.

The last step is to try a factory reset, so long as you back up everything you don't wish to lose: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062029/

If the troubleshooting is ineffective from this point, you should raise an error report in the Samsung Members app: https://www.samsung.com/ae/support/mobile-devices/raising-an-error-report-via-samsung-members-app/

Same here.

It's also the account that I really need it to work since that's the one where I need to text people who speak different languages other than English.

It also doesn't seem to work/support WhatsApp Business. 😞

Please Samsung, include them and have it compatible with more messaging apps.
