Chat translation issue on Google Messages, Messenger, and Instagram.

I'm so sad! The chat translation feature. Following the recent system update, it seems that this functionality is now limited to WhatsApp, as it is no longer available within the Messages application on my S24 Ultra. I have already checked the settings and restarted the device, but the problem continues. It's worth noting that all other features within Messages, such as the composer, spelling, and writing style options, are still present. Anyone else have this issue? Did Samsung stop allowing this feature on everything except WhatsApp?

Having the same issue. I found that deleting google messages updates fixes the issue but only temporarily. Once it updates it's self back to same issue. And if you don't let it update google messages crashes

Ugh! So disappointing. I found out that if I take my phone off dark mode, it works on IG, but not messages or Messenger. I thought that was interesting. Does yours do the same?

Same issue. Works with other message apps for me. Instagram, Line, and WhatsApp work. Also, the Samsung message app works. Just not Google message.

I think I figured out a partial fix. If you're still having issues, let me know. I opted into the Google Messages beta, and it appeared once I did that. It still didn't appear in Messenger or IG. I needed it for Google Messages, so it helped me some. I wanted to share since you helped me out. 🙂
