Change the new app icons

I didn't even see the update happen, so i couldn't even prepare myself for the ugliness of the new app icons, like who designs it, who thinks it looks good, and some the emojis too, like the dolphin emoji lowkey is chopped. Fix it, like I'm already depressed bro😭😭

Well, that doesn't matter to me, I use Google Calendar and I use a different weather app. It may matter to someone who does use the Samsung apps for calendar and weather.

Yes, it does matter to some, at least to me it does, to actually have a working icon that will display the date. There isn't much difference between Samsung's calendar and Google's, some of the other apps there is. I was using Google Calendar also but when I saw that Samsung calendar actually displayed a date on the icon I switched back to it. As for a weather it is ones own preference, I just happen to have been using The Weather Channel for years so I stuck with it.

I said it might matter to some.  I, personally, do not need dynamic icons, even though they are cute.  My clock/weather app widget shows the date/time/weather, next calendar event and alarm.  So, I can see everything at a glance.  My point being that dynamic icons are not strictly necessary.

I really didn't care about what your preferences were to begin with. Did you really need to post that it didn't matter to you?  I was just pointing out in my reply that it rendered the icon display to static reading, maybe it matter to someone other then yourself. Not everyone wants a "cute" dynamic widgets that takes up 1/4 of the home page.

You care about the dynamic icons, I don't. Other people do not either.  I was pointing out that there are alternatives for those who don't or may not, as the OP.  It sounds as if all the OP cares about is that their icons are not the way they are used to seeing them.  You were the one who brought up the fact of the dynamic icons.

You were the one that had to post that it didn't matter, who cares what matters to you. I didn't just post that for the OP about the icons turning to static, that was information for anyone who reads this topic and was deciding to add an icon pack, maybe it matters to them that they will lose that information in the icon IF they use an icon pack or Theme Park.  I didn't know this community was just for you and only what mattered to you.

What are you talking about, rules, I never said anything about any rules? Are you reading something between the lines?  I certainly don't want to be a moderator of the relaud community forums where apparently we are only supposed to post about things that matter to relaud.

I agree that the lack of adequate theming tools is actually a pretty big deal. This is not limited to icon packs... changing the icons in any way using Theme Park results in these same issues. Color Palette is inconsistent, and force-tinting unsupported icons is a much needed feature. Galaxy Themes' "framing" of unthemed icons is not really a proper solution either.

I personally don't use any custom icons for these reasons, and it's very frustrating. I would love to further personalize my device without significantly degrading the visual experience.

What seemed odd was when I added that icon pack I have two puzzle games from the same developer, one changed with the icon pack the other didn't. It seemed to be random on the other app icons as well. I don't mind the rounded look but prefer the more square look.
