Galaxy S24Hello, thanks for reaching out, and I am sorry to see what you are experiencing.
Have you tried clearing your device cache partition yet? This can help with alot of things after an update.
- Power off your device.
- While the device is powered off, simultaneously press and hold the power and volume up buttons.
- Once the Samsung logo appears, release both buttons. Your device should boot into recovery mode.
Using the volume buttons to navigate and the power button to select:
- Navigate to "wipe cache partition" and press power.
- Select yes to confirm.
- Navigate down to "Repair apps" and press power.
If clearing the cache partition did not help, you can see if a third-party application is responsible using Safe mode: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10003495/
If the black box is not present in Safe mode, uninstall third-party applications until normal functionality is restored.
In the event Safe mode did not resolve the black box there, it may be time to try a factory reset. Make sure to back up everything prior (https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10002780/) then perform the factory reset: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10002030/
If the troubleshooting is not helpful, submit an error report via the Samsung Members app: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/How-to-Send-Feedback/ba-p/3001692
