After the last update, I am getting notifications again during the night. Not sure what it's from, can't read the notification bar anymore the type is so light. I think it might be the alarm telling me 45 minutes ahead to shut off my alarm. Going to have to get a different alarm app. ANNOYING. I wish Samsung would give us back the black type in the notifications bar.

You can use GoodLock's theme park or quick star to style your own quick panel, which includes the notification bubbles, do you can make them any color combo you want. The staus bar itself is based on your theme. In most cases it's black with white text and icons. If you use dark mode, this the way it will be. In light mode the statis bar will normally change to white with black text and icons. In apps it will usually depend on the app colors. The bubbles will either be the default for your theme or whatever custom combination you set with Good Lock. Why would your alarm tell you 45 minutes ahead to turn it off?

it's not the bubbles, it's the new samsung font in the NOTIFICATION BAR with tiny black lines for letters surrounded by white. I am not doing themes because of visual and cognitive issues from a brain tumor. i just need black letters

My status bar is black with white letters icons or white/transparent with black letters, or blends in eith ehatever app I an using. I suggest you try utilizing some of the accessibility settings for vision enhancements.

@userpXZoZXz09i I've only noticed notifications from my alarm about turning off an upcoming alarm when I am awake and active. And even then it doesn't make any sound.

To be able to review all of your notifications, install Samsung's Good Lock. Open Good Lock and install the Notistar module and enable it. The settings in Notistar let you modify which notifications get tracked. Once that is setup you can just open Notistar and see all the notifications that have come to your phone.

Really, I rarely get a notification to turn off my alarm.  Sometimes I set alarms during the day for events that are happening or something I need to do that I don't put on my calendar.   Like you, I have never heard a sound.  I have seen a notification bubble if I happened to look at my notification panel during a period of time prior to the alarm going off, but I get no sound or vibration for it.

I just looked at my settings.  I have notifications on for the alarm and timers, but they are have "silent" as their notification sound.

@userpXZoZXz09i It sounds like the Next Door app uses the media channel for notifications instead of the Notification channel.
