Galaxy S24
Samsung Galaxy watches finally got this feature, plug in your watch and it automatically turns on. Why can't we have this on our phones too? Samsung is the only one of the 3 major brands in the US not to do this.
If there is valid reason that this has not been implemented on phones, please explain why!

Galaxy S24@Robin621k I'm glad that you can turn this feature off. I don't want someone to have easy access to my watch.
I don't want this on a phone. It just adds security risk.

I don't think you understand my want, when you plug in a dead phone it should power on automatically, not unlock the device.
I have forgotten on a few occasions to power on my
phone when plugging in.
While you won't get notifications until you unlock the device, you still get calls.
As to the watch, I have set a pin for security for wrist detection. If I take off my watch and put it back on, I have to enter a pin to unlock it.
You can find that in the Security settings on the watch only, not the Wear app.
