Hi Samsung Community,
I wanted to ask if there are any updates planned for slightly older Samsung devices.
I’ve noticed that on some apps (like TikTok), a few functions don’t work properly on my phone, while the same features are working fine on my friend’s newer device. For example, when commenting on TikTok, their phone shows an extra function that’s missing on mine.
Could this be due to a software limitation, or is it just that some updates are not rolling out equally to all models? Any info about upcoming updates or fixes for these models would be very helpful.
Thanks!

Galaxy S24I am eligible for updates and I’m already running Android 15 on my phone. The issue is not with missing updates, but something else like an update error...
Here’s what I noticed: on TikTok, my friend (with the same model) can use TikTok’s special emojis in comments (the ones you type with codes like [happy], [shock], etc., which automatically turn into emojis, see here if you don't know about them https://tiktokemojiz.com/). On my phone, when I type these codes, they just remain as text instead of changing into emojis.😔
TikTok support told me there’s no issue on their side, so I wanted to check if it could be a software-related error on my device. Has anyone else faced this, or is there a fix for it? What should I do next?

Galaxy S24Yes, I’ve cleared the cache many times, both for the phone and the TikTok app. I think this issue is specific to my device rather than the model or the update. I’ve been troubleshooting it for the past 2 days, and that’s what I’ve figured out so far.
Are there any recommendations from your side?

Galaxy S24One thing is ... I'm not talking about the standard emojis...
I'm talking about TikTok special emojis... they work when we type their hidden codes in the comments... but unfortunately not in my case
here is the screenshot

Galaxy S24Awww, I actually ignored the keyboard part. I’ll check this right away and then confirm to you. Thanks for pointing it out!
