When connecting a USB cable from my Samsung phone to either my desktop or laptop the phone is detected, but says "This folder is empty". So, not able to download photos, etc.
One YouTube video suggest going to setting then developer area to ensure transfer files is turned on. However, my Ultra24 does not have the developer option on settings.
@wayglo Remember everytime you connect your phone to your pc you will have to switch it from charging only to file transfer by clicking on the notification if that solved your problem please mark the post as solved with the 3 dots in the comment that solved the problem.

In the settings menu, go to 'About', and click on where it says 'Build Number' 7 times. This will enable the developers options to become visible. Go in here and select 'Default usb configuration'. Change it to the desired setting, and it should work as intended. If not, then you may have to enable usb debugging, and or change the 'Mobile Hotspot and Tethering' settings within 'Connections' in the settings menu if applicable.
@albertsse Thanks for the added information. I don't use Developer mode it has to much stuff you can mess up in there.

In order to do any file transfers via USB, Auto Blocker must be temporarily turned off in Settings > Security and privacy. Once you are done, don't forget to re-enable Auto Blocker.
