After I updated to one UI 7 on my s24 ultra, I noticed the option to change the color of my app folders is gone. I only see an option to name the folder. I also updated my tab S10 Plus to one UI 7 and the option IS available on my tablet but not on my phone. Any suggestions?

Exactly, they took it away in Ui7. Offloaded it to Themepark module only.

You are casting your net too wide.

To say its Theme park is incorrect. You can use many parts of Theme park without an issue. It is only if you use custom icons in Theme park.

I have a Theme (not ThemePark) applied now. I wonder if thats it. On my S10Plus Tablet, I do not have a Theme applied, and I DO see the Folder color change option.

After reading your responses, I tested it by removing the Theme I had applied and set it to default theme/wallpaper it has when the phone comes out of the box and it appears that was the issue!! Thank you all for your feedback!! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ. You helped me figure out the issue. Good feedback!

@usersxSQDOYtQx I'm still seeing it on my phones and Tablet. All have UI 7.

Did you wipe the device cache partition after the update? I recommend that you do this after every device update. It wipes out incompatible or outdated cache information which might be incompatible after the update. It does not erase any user data nor applications.

To wipe the device cache partition:

1. Power off your device.
2. Power up while holding down the Volume up key and the Side key until the Samsung logo appears.
3. An Android recovery menu will appear.
4. Use the Volume down key to scroll down to Wipe cache partition.
5. Click the side key to select it.
6. Use the Volume down key to scroll down to Yes.
7. Click the side key to select it. The Cache will be wiped almost instantaneously.
8. Click the side key to select "Reboot system now"

Yep. I came across a YouTube video saying that and I did it on my phone and my mom's phone.

They must be using icon pack or color palette options.

They have taken away thus feature when not using default icons.
