Has anyone had a problem with android auto, not working all? I have tried multiple different cables usb c and usb, and it doesn't even recognize it to charge. I tried my mom's older phone and it connected fine and then I connected my phone perfectly fine, but once I shut the car off to go into the store and came back, neither phone would work with android auto. It's been like this for months. The ports seem to be getting power. I even tried a cigarette lighter adapter. Got power but still no android auto connection. I changes fuses in car to swe if that has something to do with it but nope.
Try going to settings/apps/Android Auto/configure in Android auto/previously connected cars tap on the car listed and click forget. Also try going to Bluetooth and remove the vehicle from there. Maybe restart phone and repair through Bluetooth, once done then connect to the USB port of the vehicle and pair Android Auto and see if that fixes it.
I have never had an issue with my GM Pickup so can't say this will work or not but worth a shot if you haven't tried this.
