Galaxy S23I am having a problem with the gate in our neighborhood. You can open it when the gate calls your cell by hitting 9. It does not work most of the time. I think being able to change the dtmf tone to be a long tone instead of short would be a good experiment. How is this done on my S23+? Current software, I always do the updates.

Galaxy S23Nothing in the update would have changed the length of the tone emitted. They are standard. If it worked before, it should work now. Try clearing the cache for the dialer app and/or the phone's cache partition (as you should do after every update). If this was happening under the old OS as well, the problem probably lies with your community's software not properly receiving the signal. You may be able to press and hold the digit for a longer tone (just like on the old touch-tone phones), but I do not remember.

Galaxy S23Are you using the dialpad or the in-call keypad to enter your digits? They are different.
