Sleep feature not working properly in Samsung Health app

Ever since the last update the sleep feature isn't working right I can edit or delete on some days but not every. Then it's adding sleep sessions when I'm reading or watching tv.  

My steps aren't being calculated right I use a pedometer and it's off drastically.

It's always done that, it isn't the update. You cannot delete exta sleep sessions on prior days, only the current day. When you are relaxed and reading, your body processes slow down and your watch may register those periods as sleep sessions, esprcially if you are reclining. It's best to get in the habit of checking the app shortly after stopping that activity or prior to your normal bedtime so you can edit before bed.

No I just went through last 2 weeks of data on Sun and was able to delete or edit some. Days but not all. Why can't I delete the entire sleep session and manually enter it for a previous day I used to be able to do that.

I do not have the update, and I am telling you this bas always been the case with the app and sleep tracking. I never tried to delet prir sessions until last night and could delete the prior day's extra session. It's not the UI update, it's the health app update. However, the resting session has always been that way.

Yes I was referring to the health update but chat also said I should be able to delete the entire sleep session for the day which I can't do either. They are the ones who suggested I post here and said they would reach out.

I noticed last night I had an extra session the day before and tried to delete it, but the delete option was gone for that day. I could, however, delete the extra session for the current day. I think the tech support person you spoke to didn't know that changed, or that they were thinking it wasn't supposed to change.

I mean if I can't delete the added session I should at least be able to delete the entire sleep session for the day then add it manually. Yes I would lose the cycle log but when I'm trying to log the hours exactly for a Dr appt this would be the closest option. But Im hoping it stops the extra sessions as it's never done it as frequently as it is now. How can I be asleep but on my phone using a coloring app etc. it's just crazy it should realize I'm not asleep if I'm actively using the phone. I can see the days it's just YouTube running cuz ppl use that as ASMR etc. but I'm hoping this fixes itself back . And I've also noticed the battery on my watch drained wayyy faster now I always charge it at night about 1030 and it's at 60ish% it's 5 pm and it's at 40% with nothing new on it etc

You may be actively using the phone, but if you have very little movement and your hr is lowered, it will still think you are asleep.
I agree, we should be able to delete any sleep record we want, even months later. I just checked again. I can dete anything from today, but if I go to any prior day, the delete option disappears. This is not a problem for tech support, this is a problem for the developers and an error report should be made.
