Visual voicemail

Samsung we need the feature I hate calling my voicemail like we back in the year 2000. Visual voicemail is fast and easy. That's one thing you definitely should have took from apple.

Yeah the visual voicemail that you have to set up with your carrier is trash. It just comes with iPhone it's very simple you got to go to a whole different app to use that visual voicemail on Samsung for some reason.

Voicemail is a carrier issue

Its on the dialer. Select the Keypad tab. Top right select the 3 dots. There you can select Visual Voicemail.

You guys are correct I guess I just kept missing it or was using the Google phone app my bad.

There is also a toggle in the Google dialer settings, but visual voicemail has to be activated by your carrier.

Samsung uses carrier voicemail apps. I know T Mobile had their own that you could download, but Samsung doesn't have their own, at least not on carrier-specific devices. I do wish Samsung would put things like Call Screening, Live Voicemail, and other iOS Voicemail features into their own app. You don't even have to set up your voicemail on an iPhone for it to start taking messages via Live Voicemail. Only if you want to get voicemail when your phone doesn't have a good data connection, in which it will forward voicemail to carrier voicemail (and if you don't have that setup, it'll tell callers that your voicemail hasn't been setup yet). Maybe, just maybe, we'll see it with OneUI 9.0.
