Galaxy S23I've been working on this problem for 3 weeks. Tried all solutions from Samsung and users. Finally went thru a factory data reset. What a PITA! After 2 days going down that rabbit hole I still have the problem. I'll send $50 to the first tech or user that can tell me how to fix this. Don't bother with the list of things to reset and turn on or off. I've been thru all that **bleep** from numerous online requests for 3 weeks. Hard to believe that no one else has ever seen this. There has to be a simple solution. Again, the problem is quite simple: when I am listening to music or podcasts, anytime there is a pause of a couple seconds the sound gets muted. It comes back as soon as I touch the volume up button.

Galaxy S23Is one of the things you tried using a different music player app? Does this happen with buds, headphones or the phone speakers or all of the above?

Galaxy S23I'm sure he was just being hyperbolic. He can keep his $50. And, what he did was proffer money, not solicit it.

Galaxy S23Other things you may not have tried - open the settings in Samsung music player and turn off crossfade between tracks. Turn on skip silence between tracks. Doing either or both may help your issue. Since the issue is mute when it detects silence, my bet would be on the skip silence between tracks.

Galaxy S23Have you actually made sure it's not your ear gear at fault?

Galaxy S23Thanks for the replies. Not sure what fixed it, but it's OK now.
